The XT-100 Buddy Phone® transceiver has been specifically designed as an underwater
acoustic telephone for the Sport Diver. It is a buddy system
providing moderate range and clear diver-to-diver voice communications.
With an optional surface station, diver-to-surface and/or surface-to-diver
communications are available.
The XT-100 Buddy Phone® includes the following: electronic module with earphone
and transducer, HM-2 silicone mouth mask, uniquely designed flood
able microphone (installed in the HM-2), comfortable silicone
head strap, easy adjustment buckles and users manual.
The XT-100
comes installed on the HM-2 head strap. The user simply
removes the bite mouth piece from their 2nd stage regulator and
replaces it with the HM-2 mouth mask. Install a 9 volt
battery and don the HM-2. The user then adjusts the straps to
fit and dons their face mask.
Once in the water, the unit automatically
turns ON and goes into the receive mode. Any Buddy Phone®
or Aquacom® signal ,within range and on the same frequency,
will be heard. To transmit, simply depress the patented push-to-talk
control located on the HM-2. As long as the button is
depressed, the XT-100 is transmitting. All other Buddy
Phones® within range and on the same frequency will receive
the message.
Buddy Phone®
was designed as a diver-to-diver, "Buddy System".
The depth capability is within the range of safe scuba diving
standards.
RX-100 Buddy Phone® is a RECEIVE ONLY unit. It is designed to
be used with standard scuba equipment. It simply attaches to
the existing face mask strap and positioned over the ear. It
is powered by a single 9 volt battery.
The RX-100 Buddy Phone® will monitor communications from all single sideband,
Aquacom® and/or Buddy Phone® transceivers
within range and on the same frequency.
RX-100 Buddy Phone® is a great tool for instructors, tour guides, directing
photography, or just sharing with a friend.
The STX-100 Buddy Phone® Surface
Station is a multi channel surface station designed to operate
with all ultrasonic transceivers operating on the same frequency
(i.e. SSB-2001, SSB-2010, MKII-BUDS, XT-100, RX-100, etc.).
STX-100 is
dependable and manufactured to the highest standards. You can
compare this unit to any surface station on the market. It will
match or exceed all others! It operates on standard Alkaline
"C" cell batteries, offers front panel Squelch, and
lots more. The only small thing about it, is the price!
MKII BUDDY
PHONE® - INTERSPIRO FULL-FACE MASK
MKII Buddy Phone® and the Interspiro
full-face mask (FFM) is a perfect combination. The Interspiro
FFM is used by Military, Commercial, and Scientific professionals
as well as Search & Recovery teams around the world. It is
also popular with many "Technical" divers.
The high quality 2nd stage regulator was
proven to be one of the best in recent U.S. Navy tests. It is
a demand type regulator. On demand, the air flow travels across
the face lens keeping it defogged. The air flow also cools your
face before it enters the comfortable oral nasal cavity. Since
you have no regulator in your mouth, jaw fatigue is completely
eliminated. The ability to breath through your nose alleviates
dry mouth. We offer the MKII-BUDS installed in a GOLD, silicone
FFM standard. However, the Buddy Phone can be purchased separately
and configured for virtually any style FFM.
The oral nasal cavity is the perfect place
for our specially designed, high quality, diver microphone. A
port located on the front of the FFM allows microphone positioning
in front of the users mouth ensuring clear communication. The
Buddy Phone® transceiver mounts nicely on the side of the
Interspiro FFM.
The combination of high quality communications
and one of the finest full-face masks available, ensures virtually

The SSB-2010 Diver Transceiver is a "High Power - Multichannel Single Sideband,
diver worn unit. It provides clear communications diver-to-diver,
diver-to-surface or vice versa. It is completely adjustable underwater!
The SSB-2010 offers many of the same features found on
the SSB-1001B. Included are four channels, underwater
adjustments, state-of-the-art Digital Signal Processor
and custom integrated circuits guaranteeing performance and intelligibility
second to none.
Adjusting the unit is exactly the same as
the SSB-1001B. It can be completely adjusted, on the fly,
while underwater. A voice menu ensures the diver always knows
what settings are selected. The package consists of a transceiver,
transducer, SP-8 eight cell AA battery holder, Hi-Use
connector, carrying case and operators manual. A number of earphone/microphone
assemblies are available. This means you can use the SSB-2010
with virtually any full face or mouth mask.
A proprietary Squelch circuit allows the user
to adjust for man made or marine biological noise. The SSB-2010
can also utilize the CDK-6 Surface Accessory Kit.
This combination would give you a compact surface station. In
all, the SSB-2010 will allow the user options and reliability
never before offered at an affordable price.
The STX-100
is compatible with all Aquacom® through water transceivers
and is the choice of many Search & Recovery Teams around
the world .
The STX-100 Surface Station
is a great choice when a "Multichannel" surface station
is necessary. Although the STX-100 comes standard with two channels,
you can easily add 2 more channels to match the SSB-2010.

The Aquacom® SSB-2010, SSB-1001B
and SSB-2001 can easily be converted to a portable surface station
allowing surface-to-diver and/or diver-to-surface communications.
The CDK-6 consists of a high grade headset with boom microphone,
a Hi-Use connector and 55' of transducer cable.
To make the conversion you simply connect
the headset with boom microphone to one of the above transceiver's
Hi-use connector. Step two is to disconnect the transducer from
the transceiver. The transducer is connected to the 55' transducer
cable. The other end of the transducer cable is connected to
a transceiver. The transducer cable will override the transceivers
water activation switch and the unit will power up. Lower the
transducer into the water and you are in business. Additional
transducer cable is available from your local dealer if necessary.
The CDK-6 uses a custom-made headset with
boom microphone. The microphone can be positioned at virtually
any angle. The microphone element is noise canceling and can
easily be replaced.
The SSB-2010/2001/1001B gives you the option
of utilizing itas a portable surface station or diver transceiver.

STX-100 Single Sideband Surface Station:
The STX-100 Single Sideband Surface station
is designed to operate with any single sideband transceiver operating
on the same frequency and within range. The transceiver comes
standard with one frequency, 32,768 kHz. However, single sideband
allows the user to utilize the upper or lower bandwidth. Channel
number one is 32.768 kHz upper sideband. Channel number two is
32.768 kHz lower sideband (standard channels). Optional channels
three through six can be whatever the user desires (See STX-100
Buddy Phone® chart below - Operating Frequency) (factory
installation necessary)..
The STX-100 operates on eight "C"
size alkaline batteries and comes standard with (1) hand held
microphone and (1) transducer including 35' of transducer cable.
Located on the front panel is a Volume Control, Record Out receptacle
(female RCA), Squelch Control, 12 Volt external receptacle, Channel
select Mic./Earphone receptacle, Heavy Duty Panel Speaker and

Aquacom®
SSB-1000S Surface Station:
SSB-1000S is
a Single Sideband, through-water surface station designed to
meet the needs of the Military Diver. It is U.S. Navy
Approved and used by many "Government Dive Teams"
around the world. Its rugged design will stand up to the harsh
marine environment.
The SSB-1000S has many useful features.
To name a few; Remote Speaker Receptacle (allows a separate
command post to monitor the dive operation), Voice Operated
Transmitter (VOX) or Push-to-Talk (PTT) operation,
Front Panel Squelch Control (helps suppress marine or
man made noise), Battery Voltage Meter, Low Battery flashing
LED (red), LED to monitor battery charging, specially designed
circuit to charge three additional diver transceivers while charging
itself, Automatic or Manual Gain front panel control,
Speaker On/ Off Switch (when privacy is necessary), Record
Out Receptacle, military standard connectors, hand-held microphone
and much more.
As most military dive operations have 2 divers
down and 1 standby diver, this system is designed to store (3)
SSB diver transceivers along with all accessories necessary to
support the SSB-1000S in the lid. In all, this is a must
for all Military or Government dive teams.
DRS-100 (MOD B) Diver Recall/Hydrophone system is U.S. Navy Approved and used by Special
Warfare Units, as well as, Salvage divers around the world.
It is designed to alert all divers within hearing range with
voice, solid or intermittent tones. DRS-100 also has a
listening mode which allows the user to listen to man made or
marine biological noise. Reports are, EOD Divers actually
speak through their regulator directly into the speaker to communicate!
Two receptacles are available to allow either recording underwater
sound or transmitting sound directly into the water (i.e. music,
experiments, etc.).
DRS-100 comes
complete with the main electronic unit, heavy duty housing, deluxe
transducer (25' cable), hand-held microphone, rechargeable batteries,
battery charger, and technical manual. This item is a must for
all free swimming scuba operations.
MAGNACOM® MAG-1000D is our most powerful off-the-shelf, through-water
transceiver. It is usually configured at 25 or 8 kHz, but other
frequencies are available. Ranges of 5 miles have been reported.
The system comes standard with dual earphones, 25 kHz transducer,
high/low power switch, tank mounts, Interspiro full face mask
set up complete with microphone, nicad batteries, battery charger
and operator manual.
The MAG-1000S
is a dual channel, rack mount surface station designed to operate
with all ultrasonic units on the same frequency and within range.
With the addition of the optional carrying case, the MAG-1000S
is easily converted to a self contained, portable surface station.
The MAG-1000D and MAG-1000S is the system to have
when extreme range or power is necessary.

Aquacom® SSB-1001B
Diver Transceiver:
The SSB-1001B is a high power Single
Sideband, multichannel through-water underwater telephone. It
is designed to meet the demanding needs of the Military or Government
Diver. It is the Benchmark for all others and ready for use by
Special Operations dive teams around the world.
This state-of-the-art transceiver
uses patented Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and custom components
to ensure performance and intelligibility second to none. This
unit is completely adjustable underwater! The diver can adjust
his earphone and message receive volume, choose between VOX/PTT,
turn his Squelch ON or OFF and select between 8 different channels
during the dive. As the adjustments are being completed, a voice
repeats the selections back to the diver. When the diver finishes
adjusting the transceiver, the unit repeats back all adjustments
before closing.
The raw power of the SSB-1001B ensures
clean speech and long range under most conditions. In order to
organize different dive teams, SSB-1001B offers eight (8) channels
to choose from. For instance, Alpha Team could choose channel
1 while Bravo Team chooses channel 8. This will ensure the two
Teams can operate without interfering with the other team. The
SSB-1001B comes standard with Nicad rechargeable batteries, battery
charger, EMA-2 earphone/microphone assembly, carrying case, and
operators manual. The SSB-1001B can easily be converted to a
portable surface station by the addition of our CDK-6 Surface
